Some have said prayer is THE litmus test of the Christian life, but if we're honest, many of us struggle with regular, intimate, effective prayer in our lives. In this 3-week series, we'll explore two of Jesus' most famous prayers to find out how we can be more fruitful in our pursuit of God through prayer.

Encouragements for Praying:

1. Prayer is simple, but it is not easy. Keep doing it.
2. Jesus loves to hear the prayers of his saints. Talk to God in whatever way you can. Over time, we will develop fluency in this relationship with God.
3. Don’t allow shame and guilt to prevent your prayers.
4. Take intentional steps toward the relationship we want with God. Pursue an intimate prayer life with the Father.

Discussion Questions:

1. How can I reflect on the glory of Christ, and how can I personally glorify Him?
2. What does it look like for me to pursue unity with other believers?
3. What are some ways I stumble in the command to be in the world but not of it?
4. What would it look like to be in the world but not of it in my neighborhood, job, or school? How would my interactions be different?

Discussion Questions:

1. Am I spending enough time with Jesus to actually experience transformation?
2. Where can I seek greater unity with other Christians outside this church and with brothers and sisters inside this church?
3. What stops me from consistently praying for those in my sphere of influence who are far from God?
4. Who will I pray for and invite to sit with me this Easter?
